Created in Honour of the First Tiger I Ever Worked With
Selatan was created by an Australian zookeeper with a lifelong love for wildlife and a commitment to conservation.
The name “Selatan” honours the first Sumatran tiger I ever worked with. Caring for her was the beginning of everything
- she inspired my promise to help protect her wild cousins, and her legacy continues through every piece we create today.
What began as a creative outlet soon evolved into a purpose-driven brand crafting wearable art that celebrates wildlife
and directly supports species survival in the wild.
Every brooch is thoughtfully designed and made in Australia using sustainable materials. Each piece represents a story
- from the tigers that inspired the very first design to the incredible animals that continue to shape our collections.
A portion of every sale contributes to in situ Sumatran tiger conservation through our ongoing partnership with WildCats Conservation Alliance.
Together, we support frontline work protecting habitats, reducing human-wildlife conflict, and keeping tigers in the wild where they belong.
